We do ask that all groundwork is complete before the delivery. We are not responsable for the base or any other work needed to erect the building.

We do SUPPLY a pressure treated 80mm x 50mm base for anything bought from us BUT at an extra cost please contact first.

We would also appreciate it if you can let us know on how easy/hard the access is to the property.

Base preparation

It is very important that your garden building is erected on an adequate base. It must be level, firm and square. If the base is not level, it could result in your doors twisting and sticking. Building erected on UN level bases will not be covered by a guarantee and it is the customer’s responsibility to check that the base is adequate.

Access

Our erection service is at the time of delivery, if we are unable to erect your building due to the lack of clear access or a level base not being ready. The building will be left, either for self assembly or if you require us to return, a re visit charge of £ 50.00 will be made (payable in advance)

WE MUST BE MADE AWARE IN ADVANCE OF ANY ACCESS PROBLEMS. (Eg. Alleyways, door-ways over neighbors fences etc) failure to do this could lead to extra charges for time and extra work.

Your building is made in sections so please ensure that all of these can be carried though to the assembly area with ease. All of your personal property eg garden furniture planters etc must be cleared from the area that we are expected to work in. Any hidden garden lighting should be pointed out before we assemble the building. Any foliage must be cleared away to allow access. PLEASE ENQUIRE IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS

Delivery

You will have been given or contacted with a delivery date for your garden building. We will be delivering on this date between the hours of 09.00am and 16.00 pm it is not always necessary for you to be in at the time of delivery. If we can gain access to your garden and the shed location is obvious we will assemble your building, alternatively you can mark the area.

About your garden building

Your building is made of timber, which is natural product and is prone to knots, cracks and slight shrinkage or expansion. All these properties are natural and not fault in the garden building.

Aftercare of your garden building

Your garden building has been treated with an oil spirit base treatment which will protect the building for many years; however the building will sun bleach over time and should be treated every year with a good quality treatment. All hardware hinges, locks etc should be oiled once a year.

If needed r and b sheds will provide a good quality pressure treated timber base at an additional cost if needed contact us for details.

Cancellation and returns policy

we do accept returns if it is a fault of our own ie materials or the product itself

you have the right to cancel the order within 7 days of ordering

but if you look on trading standard

You don’t have this right if your item is:

personalised or made to order which most of our products are.

ie so if a deposit or full payment is made this is non returnable
